For the Love of Music Lyrics

by Jennifer
(Albans)

As a huge Lighthouse Family fan, I have their album on my iPod.
At home the CD is in my CD player, and I am forever going through their tracks.

In the summer of 2004, June, I was flattered to have a close friend sweep me off my feet. A tall, blonde chap, who I had known for a number of years. We were talking at our local pub, when he offered to walk me home.

I know, nudge, nudge, wink, wink... but the thought had not occurred to me.

In my parents front garden, under the starry night, he kissed me.

For the next few days, these few lyrics kept me smiling...

You are the one thing that keeps me smiling
That's why I'm always wishing hard for you

'Cause your light shines so bright
I don't feel no solitude
You are my first star at night
I'd be lost in space without you

Tim did not usually listen to music, so I introduced him to
The Lighthouse Family. In fact, this track went on to be our first dance at our wedding.

To this day, when I hear the introduction music, my mood (if foul) lifts, and a smile ends up on my face. I remember the front garden and the beautiful stars.
And how, even 10 years on, with this music playing and I'm in my husbands arms, I would be lost in space without him.
